Coastal Care Medical Management's mission is to advance the highest quality patient-centered care through accessible, accountable, and cost efficient services to patients and high quality medical education to its providers. We have been planning continuing medical education activities for our physicians for the past 12 years. Evaluations of these CME activities prove that we have consistently maintained our high standards of excellence in independence, balance, objectivity and scientific rigor, linking established needs with intended outcomes. Our goal is to continue to hold these high standards, abiding by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education's (ACCME's) Essential Areas and Elements and Standards for Commercial Support in all of our educational endeavors.

All decisions involved in the planning of any Coastal CME activity, including speaker, venue and audience selection, scientific content development and critical review are made solely by the Coastal Care Medical Management CME Planning Committee through the direction of CME Physician Director Larry Schoenfeld, MD.

Our activities are open to all local and regional area physicians and health care professionals including physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists medical students and residents in training. 
 
Coastal Care Medical Management is accredited by the Rhode Island Medical Society to sponsor intrastate continuing medical education for physicians.
